Catching Fire
So I went to go see Catching Fire in theaters last Saturday. It was amazing! Before I go babbling on I want to tell you some info. If your debating on taking your kids to this movie (or if your trying to convince your parents) this should explain.
Time: 2hrs 26mins
Rated: PG 13(I would say no kids younger than 10yrs(5th grade)
Director: Francis Lawrence
Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson
The movie begins with Katniss & Peeta coming home after the 74th annual Hunger Games. Soon after they come home they have to go on something called a "Victor's Tour". During the tour they have to give speeches to each of the districts, in honor of the fallen tributes. After speaking to some of the districts Katniss feels as though a Rebellion is in progress. But, the capital is still well in control as they are making the 75th annual Hunger Games known as the The Quarter Quell. The Quarter Quell is every twenty-five years and marks the anniversary of the districts' defeat by the Capitol, and include special celebrations.
My Opinion
I really love this Catching Fire it is vary exciting, suspicious, and mind blowing. The ending was vary interesting. All I'm going to tell you is that Katniss breaks the dome surrounding the games, and the game falls apart. I'm not going to tell you the rest because well, I would ruin that for you! :D Anyway like I said a million times before this movie is amazing. Now get your butt of the couch and go see this movie. Trust me or you'll miss out on some pretty good stuff.
